ENGAGE

ENGAGE is the booking tool for ENGAGE's coaching programmes. Participants book 1:1 coaching sessions with their assigned coach, and every session gets a Google Meet link and a calendar invite automatically.

Who it is for

The app is invite-only. Accounts are created by ENGAGE administrators for the coaches and participants enrolled in a programme. There is no public sign-up.

  • Participants pick a time from their coach's open slots and can book up to 3 sessions of 60 minutes each.
  • Coaches set their weekly availability and see their upcoming sessions and participants.
  • Administrators manage coaches, participants and bookings.

How it uses Google Calendar

Coaches can connect their Google account so the app can schedule around their existing commitments. With the coach's permission, the app:

  • Checks free/busy times on the coach's calendar, so participants are only offered slots when the coach is actually free. Only busy time ranges are read, never event titles or details.
  • Creates, updates and deletes coaching session events on the coach's calendar, with a Google Meet link, and invites the participant. It only touches events it created itself.
